Ballpit Rock

Ballpit Rock is fun, ridiculous rock music forcing audiences and musicians to take pride in what makes them individuals, take the piss out of everything, and celebrate what makes them happy. The Ballpit is a tightknit and loving community, but members are encouraged to embrace their personal wild sides. At live shows, pitters let go of all their inhibitions and unite in a mess of screaming and jumping.

A genre of music that is kinda like metal music, only not as extreme. A lot of its fans claim that it's the best genre ever, but in reality, there is no such thing as the best and worst music genre ever, same with good and bad taste in music. There is however, such a thing as a favorite genre.

I love rock music, but most of its fans are really bad.

Mom Rock

On June 25, 2004 The Wall Street Journal announced "There's a new wave of garage bands featuring Mom on guitar, Mom on drums and, on lead vocals....Mom." These suburban hausfraus kick out the jams to tunes like “Take Out the Trash”. The moms play so loud, they can’t hear their kids dialing the runaway hotline.

This genre of music is commonly referred to as "Mom Rock". Examples include The Mydols, Housewives on Prozac and Hormone Replacement Therapy.

punk rock

A "musical" movement that pretty much consisted of playing really bad music very very fast. People seeking individuality started saying that they enjoyed these bands as a way to seperate them from the crowd, when there was no possible way that anybody could enjoy the music. While some good bands have come out of the movement (namely The Clash, The Ramones, NOFX, The Presidents of the United States of America, and Green Day), the majority of it is loud pointless noise.

One of the worst elements of punk is the "hardcore" movement led by bands such as Black Flack and DOA, which was made of a bunch of skinheaded racist anti-semites who liked punching each other at shows. The modern "hardcore" movement is even worse.
