v. to spend more time en route to a poker tournament than actually playing in that tournament. Named for poker celebrity, and occasional poker player, Joe Sebok and his January 2010 performance in the Bahamas. Coined by Joe Stapleton.

Four hour flight and a four hour layover just to bust an hour in! Travelboked again.

travelophobia

someone not big on travel, ie: i only like sleeping in my own bed!, i don't like foreign bathrooms, i hate hotels, i don't like to fly, i'm afraid to fly!, i don't like being away from home/my 'treasures', i get claustrophobia...on & on....!!

meanwhile, the world spins on around you!!!!

traveloner 

Someone who travels alone. Unsociable backpackers.

I saw a guy walking alone yesterday. I thought he was a traveloner but apparently he lives here.
I have no space in my car for you, I'm sorry, I guess I'm just a bit of a traveloner.
What are you going to do after school? I'm going to be a travelloner for a year.
'OMG why is that guy so unsociable! I thought people came travelling to get to meet new people and explore new places... he's such a traveloner!'

A person that refuses to leave their hometown out of fear of the unknown

Beta male : "Why would I get a passport? America is the greatest country on Earth"

Sigma male: "Lol this guy's a travelbeta"

Person 1: "I don't want to go to New York, they're communist! I have everything I need in Wisconsin. What? No I've never been and I don't want to because I can't practice my 2nd amendment rights."
