Indie may be "cool" but it's fucking boring.

So awesome, non-mainstream in no way whatsoever. Someone that is indie does not follow the herd. You can not become indie, you are only born that way. To be indie is to not care about anything, but at the same time, to be above everything. Even this site.

A sub-genre of non-mainstream music recently brought into the mainstream with such bands as The Killers and Franz Ferdinand. Its fans tend to be the pickiest of any kind of music, rejecting any change in the sound or lyrical content of their favorite bands that makes them sound even slightly "mainstream." This form of music has thus gained a reputation of snobbery.

I would tell you about my favorite band, whose music I love, but you've never heard of it and thus you are not worth the telling.

A kind of imbetween of pikeys, chavs and goths. or anything. someone who has their own style and likes their own things in life. basically an INDIVIDUAL.

Someone who likes football, rock/punk music at the same time. may wear some chav brands like nike due to being needed in the sporting world.
