Lower Manhattan Community Middle School (LMC) is a school that takes the word "community" seriously. Each student commits to an art major after the 6th grade (Visual Art, Digital Art, Music, and Dance). Great for future artists as it definitely can be the start of a “rags to riches” story. Heavy on the rags. Mice are frequent and welcome members of the community and roaches love to join in on dodgeball games in the gym. The school curriculum tries (and can fail) to be progressive, leading to a lot of “interesting” lessons and even more interesting personalities. Hippies, basketball stars, wallflowers, and ignorant will usually end up in groups together. Like every middle school, students will be embarrassed of their time at the school, but at least they made it out alive.
No visual art teacher has ever stayed at LMC (Lower Manhattan Community Middle School) for more than a year.

There is of course still the usual fighting and having sex but that is normal for a high school. What did you expect sticking a bunch of horny teenagers together in a confined space. The normal amount of people will go on to have normal jobs. Around 15% get lower or higher. The college is one of the most high ranking colleges in the country. And a lot of graduates from there get very high paying jobs. The teachers are not 100% the best but most of them are 88%. The students majority refuse to listen and end up distracting the minority who came there to learn. Aside from that the high school is fine really. With the newly surfacing LGBTQQIOA+ community (I use the term surfacing very lightly) the school has been filled with more of them. It is slightly... it is racist, more than a few other schools. But for those who went there to learn and not get distracted by juul or vape or sex or any of the land mines that come with being in high school. They can do whatever they put there mind to as a community

While the grade 7 and 8’s run around vaping and smoking weed, we usually get the special guest of having one police officer come to our school a day picking through some weed filled locker. The 9th graders run around aimlessly literally have no clue what the fuck they’re doing and WHO they’re doing (if I’m fact ones attractive enough to actually get some.) the grade ten’s are the very unnecessary loud kids with those occasional quiet losers who think they’re very popular. The 11 and 12’s are the exact same thing except that a couple of them wear durags trying to get their waves.

Kids smoking weed in the lower area. cough cough gavin. The school is like 60% black people 15% white and 25% asians. 6th graders yellin "Pushin P" in the hallways. Our basketball team is legit made a of black people and like 1 white kid. The school is so easy to pass now. Honestly Sabis was better. And theres so much asians. FUckin HaTE asians.
