California rules

used by extreme sportsmen (surfers,skydivers,hang glider pilots ,skiers, etc.). If one does something special and there is no photo or video they are said to have not not followed California rules. Same as pix or it does not count.

I wanted to watch insert movie you want to watch right now so I checked it up on Netflix...it wasn’t there so I rented it on Amazon instead. (sigh) the netflix rule strikes again.

Maury Rule

The rule to only have sex with one guy per menstruation cycle. That way, if you get pregnant you won't end up on "The Maury Show" trying to figure out which one is the father?

Girl 1: I'm sorry Tony dumped you, but that Mark is looking fine! Are you gonna let him ..."comfort you" this weekend?

Girl 2: No girl, I'm obeying the "Maury Rule"... if I get pregnant, I'm going to know EXACTLY who the daddy is. Mark and I can wait a few weeks.

A function in Microsoft Outlook where you can create a rule to move an incoming email into a folder to be read later thereby reducing the amount of urgent email that you have to read on a daily basis.

I got so tired of receiving unwanted emails from Microsoft so I decided to create a rule to automatically move their emails to a folder so that I could read them later if I even cared to.
