False metal

"False metal" is a term created by Manowar in the 80s to describe glam metal music.

Nowadays it also includes nu metal, deathcore, metalcore and similar genres. Some people also include DSBM (depressive suicidal black metal).

an alternative (mostly European) name for the musical genre commonly known as Nu Metal, referring to the performers' affinity for athletic wear (hats, jerseys, etc.) and the music's prominence in sports video games and broadcasts.

A subculture of the metal scene. Walmart metal heads purchase their entire wardrobe from Walmart, wearing "heavy metal" shirts consisting of skulls, fire, motorcycles, playing cards, or all of the above. These shirts are frequently paired with cheap sunglasses and straight leg blue jeans. Walmart metallers are often found drinking PBR, listening to Five Finger Death Punch, or smoking meth in their trailer.

A person who claims thrash metal, outside of the big four(Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax), is the best genre of music. They also claim their music is better than anything you listen to. Also known as a metal snob.
