Reddit Karen

Reddit Karen's are users that get mad, upset, or in general, are disrespectful and/or intolerant of variations with regards to methodology, topics they don't agree with or fit within their definition of a subreddit rules or comments going against their perceived righteousness with respect to what they are commenting on (i.e a post or commenting on a comment from another user.). Engaging with them tends to lead to argumentative responses, name-calling, bullying or harassment via the chat system of Reddit. They will abuse the voting system in bad faith to alter content/comments for personal gain, or to outright stifle discussion, contrary to the intended purpose as stated by Reddit themselves on how the voting system was intended for use. Additionally, they will abuse the "Reddit Cares" messaging system to send you a message for suicide or self-harm to troll you.

"Did you see that rude comment by the Reddit Karen for a post to the Subreddit asking for help?"

"Did you see that Reddit Karen lose it when they were asked for proof of their comment?"

"Just because you don't agree with the facts doesn't make you right. It makes you a Reddit Karen."

"You don't have to act like a Reddit Karen over my observation; I didn't state my claim as a fact, only an opinion."

slack karen

Slack Karen’s are the busybodies at your office who treat it as their own social media fiefdom. They monitor all channels, insert themselves into any discussion, and argue with you if you post something they disagree with. Most of their work day is spent in arguments and self-started drama

They are usually very liberal but conservative versions exist too. If you call them out on their odious behavior, they’ll DARVO and pretend to leave forever, only for the cycle to restart the next day.

Person 1: Wow, Cynthia is really upset about the recent election results
Person 2: They are upset about everything; they are a Slack Karen. Do not engage with them.

Target karen

the Karen who pulls out in the middle of the entrance to the large Target parking lot. There's enough room for one car to both be entering and exiting, but not for Karen. You see, it's hard for Karen to see through her sunglasses at 5pm, and her hydrocodone is just kicking in at this time, so don't try and enter the parking lot, just wait the two minutes it takes for her to get annoyed, shoot you that look, and drive her nice little minivan out of the way.

I was trying to go to Target, and I was about to enter the parking lot, when this Target Karen moves her minivan in the middle of the entrance

Soy Karen

A sub species of the typical Karen.

Example:
She nannies adults by ear splitting screams of “ use your words, use your words”!!! She extolls the virtues of soy and is a rabid vegan and reads you the riot act if you aren’t.

A Soy Karen sends gloppy soy “yogurt” for her child to eat at a birthday party.
