colourguard 

Colourguards are very special people. They are strong and they practice very hard to top the performance off with precision and skill. They are nice and hardworking people who never give up. TK Colourguards (Singapore) are a great colourguards and they're humble.

Colorguard 

1. a semi-cult which no one outside of it understands, because they cannot handle the greatness of it

2. a group of girls, and occasionally a gay guy, who make marching band far more interesting by dancing and twirling flags, sabres, rifles, batons, and sometimes the odd prop or two

Person 1: I don't like marching band shows. They're so boring.

Person 2: No they're not! Look at the shiny flags and weapons.

High School Colorguard (Marching Band) 

1. Auxiliary
2. uses Flags most often to express band's song/show theme with colors/shapes along with some genres of dance/acting along with manipulating their equipment.
3. in equipment, may use rifle and/or sabre and sometimes the guard may spin non-equipment props or other unusual equipment such as an "airblade..."
4. helps the band earn more GE points (General Effect points from GE judge)

BOB: I hate the band's guard(High School Colorguard (Marching Band)), they look so silly!

BOBBY: Maybe YOUR BAND'S GUARD, but ours look like they are WORLD CLASS A. That's because your band's guard is 100% beginners.
