A more PG yet somehow funnier synonym for cockblocking. Can also be used as a noun, for example:

"Man, Dylan's such a spudger; I was dancing with this chick all night and he just comes in while I'm about to get her number with his charm and sense of humor."

"Yeah dude, same thing happened to me last week. I was like, STOP SPUDGING ME, BRO but he'd already wedged himself between me and destiny..."
