Assonance 

Literally means "Ass sounds" or sounds emitted from the ass.

I had beans and dark beer for lunch and everyone was getting sick of my assonance.

The resonating sound emitting from his ass is called assonance.

French Arrogance

1. The uniquely French condition, of words and body language usually exhibited by waiters in French restaurants

2. The belief that French sportsmen can get away with any kind of foul play, mixing the sports of Volleyball and "Le Socceur".

French arrogance is initiated with a shrug of the shoulders, a sour face and a words like "must you really speak to me. I was busy looking important until you came along", accompanied by turning the back to the person before they respond.

Arrogance

Convincing people in an area they need you because you believe they do is arrogance. People that are home don't need a welcome from anybody else there, and nobody could make them unwelcome there, because they are home.

The artists didn't make the neighborhood cool with their art. The neighborhood was already cool and diverse before the art and gentrification. If anything, most people thought these artists were mostly dorks that saw the same dollar signs developers did. Arrogance was what made these folks think they were making anything cool.

When your professor lowers your grade on a term paper just because you're a cocky bastard.

William worked his ass of to get a 99.5 percent on his paper. His professor took a .5 point arrogance tax.
