A phrase that has obtained popular use in areas of the UK containing northerners, chavs, or rural folk. It means "something or whatever", usually used in an inquisitive sense or as a dismissal of lack of knowledge following an observation. Irritating to hear for anyone who speaks real English.

implying that you will accompany someone to any event or gathering, and, usually without warning, not show up. Samming may involve a number of excuses.
5:30 PM (eastern standard time)- Pencek said he was coming over for wine and then then bar. 2:30 AM (timezone unknown)- Pencek most likely asleep in his bed, with no warning, completely samming all of us.

crumb slumming 

The act of digging for, scooping out open palm, or smoothing a bag of chips and pouring it into your mouth in the attempt to devour the chip crumbs/flavor dust while friends/family/coworkers/strangers look on with disapproving eyes at the sight of something they would totally do if no one was watching.
Yo Gary, look at Kate crumb slumming it with that bag of doritos. Apparently the only thing on a diet is her dignity.

1. To live poorly, or in below-average quality. Lifestyle that is below widely accepted standards, in terms of health, nutrition and hygeine, safety, and intelligence. Often linked with impoverished lifestyle or frugal living.

2. In stasis, or semi-nomadic state, surviving on bare minimum or below normal standards of living.
