Shadow muted 

In online chat rooms moderators police the content and if necessary, they can normally mute users who are breaking the rules. A shadow mute is when the player is muted but isn't informed of the mute. Often they continue to chat, completely unaware that nobody in the chatroom can see what they type. The shadow muted user is left with the feeling that nobody is interested in them or whatever it is they have to say. Its a particularly cruel form of muting and can cause long term self esteem issues in tweens.

Freddie: oh she got shadow muted on runescape, she thought everyone hated her and tried to kill herself.

Brad: umm everyone does hate her

Freddie: yeah bro, I don't know why you married her

The person saying this is typically muted and probably for a good/bad reason, this is why they are not saying Good Job! or Welcome! If they are saying this, they are probably using a command to say this and want to be unmuted.

mutelet 

A mutelet is somebody that does not have a personal mute in VRChat.

A mute in this case is related to game VRChat, in which some players choose to never speak and are therefor deemed "mute". This term comes from the twitch streamer sodapoppin when he obtained a personal mute follower and sidekick, and then began calling anybody without a mute, a mutelet.

You don't even have vr? God, your such a mutelet.
