Campus Gypsy 

One who travels to a university not belonging to their own with the sole purpose of finding parties and getting drunk. This person travels to other universities most likely because their own college parties suck or they're not even going to college because they fucked up in high school.

Person 1: "Hey man, there's a Campus Gypsy outside that says he knows you"
Person 2: "Fuck that kid, he stole all my beer last week."

Gypsy Whistle

Norwegian slang for passing gas; stems from long-held Norwegian tradition for blaming small errors, mislaid items, and gaffs on ever-present but unseen gypsies. Norway has a long and troubled history between local ice farmers and its Gypsy population.

Gypsy log 

A very, very large campfire log which with a great deal of effort will eventually catch fire and burn... often for several days. A gypsy log always the thickest log found near a campfire ring and usually showing signs of previous burn attempts. Gypsy logs are extremely difficult to light due to their size and density of the wood, but once lit they WILL NOT go out and can be used to restart the fire. If camping in one location for any period of time a gypsy log can form the core of each evening's burn-session. Store-bought wood will never contain a gypsy log. The origin of the term is from a USFS park ranger in the Trinity National Forest, Northern California circa 1985.

Corvallis Gypsy

A campus gypsy exclusive to Oregon State University in Corvallis. These people migrate to OSU to find parties and freeload on alcohol, especially during Halloween. Masses of them can be seen wandering the streets during this time of year, searching for shelter to spread diseases and lay their eggs. Usually from the city of Eugene but can also come from Portland, West Linn, and Oregon City.
