thrift store robber

A person who enters a thrift store with full intent to shoplift any items that will fit in their pockets and purses. They may even steal a purse and put stuff in it.

A low form of shoplifter who will go into any store and steal the floor tiles if they're not tacked down well enough.
1. "Did you see that girl in Electronics? She was putting a surge protector in her purse! WTF? She'd be a thrift store robber, that one."

2. Stacy was kicked out of the thrift shop for stealing all the clothes instead of putting them away; what a thrift store robber.

Thrift Store

1. A place where goods can be donated to be refurbished and sold. Usually benefits a non-profit organization. Saves landfill space, efficient, and overall benefits the community.
Hot dumb girl in expensive clothes: "Oh that's a nice shirt"

Me in stained thrift store garb: "They make me cooler than you."

Hot girl: "How so?"

Me: "I'm a moron."

Hot Girl: "Fo shizzle my nizzle"

okay, I totally killed this entry...

Thrift Gift

A thing you pull from your own room and give away because you never use it and forgot to get a real gift.
"I forgot Tim's birthday ... I need to stop by my house and get a thrift gift real quick."

"I totally was thrift gifted this dirty Troll doll!"

thrift store

Usually where items not sold at a garage/yard sale are donated.
While going through the newest donation at the thrift store, most of the items still had yard sale tickets. One of us decided they were yard sale rejects.

thrift store chic

When you go into a Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom or Marc Jacobs and there are $50 tank tops stretched and faded, and generally looking like they came out of a pile of salvation army clothes. you are think WTF? but other people are eagerly trying them on and buying them, even though if you were to suggest they go to an actual thrift store and get the same clothes for $1.99, they would be shocked/horrified/appalled.
That $200 faded black hoodie with the intentional silver paint splotches is so thrift store chic.

"oh my god look at what i got at the goodwill! it's such a cute shirt, don't you think? and it goes perfect with my A&F jacket too! i wore it with my hollister pants and i was like...woah" -what a thrift prep would be caught saying
