A phrase made popular by a pro gamer named FPS Doug on the internet series Pure Pwnage. FPS Doug says "Boom, headshot" everytime he shoots an opponent in the head in Counterstrike Source or any first person shooter type game.

It means to merge a subtitle with a video file (so it can played anywhere without subtitle display plug-in's).

You have two files (video + subtitle), after hardsubbing: you have one file (movie subtitled).

Jake was so embarssed when he was play fighting with Lisa and she got her legs around his head. Her headscissor was so tight he couldn't breathe and she made him beg for release.
