A snaptrap occurs when a big-ol’-gal traps her victim on a date by using severely altered photos or pics from when they were much thinner on their social media or dating app profile. A more nuanced version of a
catfish, the victim feels trapped, unable to confront their date in fear of looking like a real asshole. Can be applied to any gender or gender sub genre.
