Gaz is a mistake from a kid in germany trying to call someone gay, but since the Z's and Y's are interchanged, 'gaz' became the coined term. The word is usually used to either describe something stupid or dumb, OR cool (sometimes in a weird way).

Nick: "Yeah man, she sucks!"
