Someone who's in a relationship with a plant, and best friends with another. The term plant is used to lightheartedly mock someone who identifies as asexual. So if you find yourself with the closest people in your life being plants (specifically if you don't identify as one yourself), that makes you their gardener.

An extension of the joke term in which you would refer to an asexual as a plant. In this context, it simply refers to when two (or more) asexual individuals have a bonding experience, or just generally enjoy each other's company.
