A training plan that is not customized for the individual. It is rather based on data collected by the creator of the training program. This data comes either from the creator’s own training, experience of working with clients, or both. These training plans are most of the time not as good as a program that is customized for the trainee’s own needs. Nevertheless, are cookie-cutter programs for beginners (Starting Strength for instance) the best place to start, as a beginner don’t know their own needs in a training plan yet.
Starting Strength, Super Squats, 5x5, 5/3/1, the Juggernaut Method and the Texas Method are all cookie-cutter programs, as they aren’t specialized for the individual
