National Hockey League's most successful franchise. Own NHL record of 24 Stanley Cup. Play in Montreal in Quebec province in Canada.
The Montreal Canadiens won again tonight, they are so great!
The best and most entertaining sport out there. PERIOD.
Sadly, hockey's greatness isn't appreciated everywhere. But in Canada, we live and breathe this game, this one sport is intrinsically what links a nation together, it's a part of our heritage.
We even celebrate "Hockey Day in Canada." The passion and love for this game extends to young and old alike, children in pee wee games across the country dream about living the ultimate fantasy and playing in the NHL.
Nothing brings together a city more than a winning local team, nothing brings together a country more than winning on an international level(again, and again and again, I might add).
I get goosebumps when the crowd sings along with O' Canada, I feel giddy when I hear the HNIC theme song, I leave work early or skip class when my schedule interferes with a hockey game, I wear my hockey jersies proudly after a big win, I have crazy game day rituals and I jump up when we score. I'm blissfully happy when my team wins and torn after a loss.
DON'T TELL ME IT'S JUST A GAME.
There is something seriously wrong with you if you don't passionately love hockey.
Montreal is a wonderful city full of action and a great history.
Although Montreal's sucess is fairly recent, the city has been alive for hundreds of years. It's been THE place in Quebec everybody wants to visit.
The action in Montreal is absolutely unbelievable. You could visit Montreal for a few days and feel like you've lived a totally different life while spending your time there.
Probably the only city in the province of Quebec to hold as many subcultures and different lifestyles.
The Arts and Media are highly developed there, too. Fashion and Art shows, great musicians, television shows, comedians.
The Montreal Jazz Festival is probably the city's biggest event of all time. Every year, hundreds(if not thousands) of musicians from all over the world travel to perform, or to watch. It's not just Jazz music, it's always very diverse. I strongly recommand it.
And as for the party times of Montreal, well, y'know the reputation.
Sex drugs and rock n roll.
Don't forget the clubs
Goth, Metal, Punk, House and RnB, They have all the types of clubs.

1. Premier hockey league in the world, playing host to the greatest talents to ever hit the ice. 2. Also, the NHL is in big trouble with the pending CBA.

How lang is Will Smith?
The largest city in Canada. It's known for it's combination of great neighbourhood vibe, cosmopolitan flare, and horribly atrocious downtown architecture. (Unlike most major cities, it experienced it's big economic boom in the sixties, go figure.) Otherwise a peach of a town, with great nightlife (and with boozecans up the wazoo, for you after hours folks), and wickedly georgeous people. So fuck off.
I love Toronto.
1) Toronto's NHL franchise.
3) A group of gritty, tough-as-nails men responsible for the anal penetration/spanking of 20 Ottawa Senators every year come playoff time.

"The Maple Leafs smoked the Sens."
An NHL team that is in its 14th year now in the NHL. Its first franchise year was 1993-1994. After only 14 years it won one of the greatest trophies in all of sports...the Stanley Cup. They are the first team in California to win the Stanley Cup and the first West Coast team to win it since the Victoria Cougars. The Ducks are the 2006-2007 Stanley Cup Champions. They are led by two Norris Trophy winners Scott Neidermayer and Chris Pronger and fan favorites Teemu Selanne and J.S. Giguere. They also have many talented youngsters such as Getzlaf, Perry, and Penner.

Man 2: "Ya I saw the Anaheim Ducks win the Stanley Cup"
