A beautiful, ungodly fast car that can be picked up for about $8000 and will shit on your eurotrash wannabe porsche's or Jags and your homo-erotic ricer club boyz.

hands down the most bang for your buck
give me $1200 for suspsension, and my camaro will embarass your expensive imports all day long on the track.

the only way to make a camaro vs. import race interesting is to start in 3rd gear.

LS7
the latest V8 to come out of GM. Its a 7 litre 427ci small block engine developing around 377kw or almost 500hp. Besides a few V8's being developed by mercedes and BMW it is the most powerful 8 cylinder naturally aspirated(no turbo/supercharger) engine in the world. Fitted to the Z06 corvette, possibly to be added to the Australian HSV models.

Lt1
The most powerful and amazing v8 ever produced until the Ls1. Known for absolutley humiliating 4.6 and earlier 5.0 mustang GT's its at the top of its class. The Lt1 was was made for the Trans am, corvette C4, AND CAMARO Z28..ohh and as far as imports go, they wish they were packing an Lt1
WOW look at that RICY piece of trash. I could start off in 3rd gear and shift straight to 6th and beat that heap in my Lt1.

ls2
Motor found in late model HSV's and Commodores.

Weak and spineless, the LS2 can NOT possibly live up to the soaring heights of power output and sheer grunt of the LS1.
" poor Carmino is stuck with that shitty LS2 - I bet he wishes he had an LS1 like Tim's "

LS6
Later versions were variants of the LS1. The LS6 featured redisigned cylinderheads, a new plastic intake manifold, and a camshaft with increased lift and duration. Some also featured titanium valves. The factory horsepower rating was 385HP on some ZO6 Corvettes, and later models were rated at 405HP. However, testing has shown that the real output of the engines are higher than their factory ratings.
The LS6 is found in Z06 Corvettes built between 2002 and 2004.

An American legend. The original pony car and muscle car, born on April 17th 1964. The car all other manufacturers tried tried and are still trying to emulate. 1964-1973 first generation Mustangs are considered classics, 1974-1986 were not so good. 1987-1993 are the popular Fox body, and 1994 to present Mustangs are sweet, esp. 1999-present. A new generation will begin for model year 2005.

Ultimate Mustangs include the 1969-70 Boss 429, Any Shelby Mustang, any Cobra, and any Saleen, Mach 1, Boss 302, GT's, etc. GT's are always great and are very reasonably priced.

To everyone who is bashing the Mustang, a few words. Camaros and Firebirds may be quicker than most GT's, but 1) They look like crap (except WS-6 Trans Am) and 2) I'd like to see either of them step up to the 2003 Cobra or any Saleen, and 3) Oh wait, GM discontinued them because they can't sell any.

For the Japanese cars will the silly winey exhaust.....putting 500 HP in a Civic is like putting Granite Counter Tops and a Plasma TV into your mobile home at the trailer park....why bother? Why not spend the money on a nicer unit first? Now, a 3000 GT or Supra is nice, but a stock Saleen s351r with 510 HP, yes stock with 510, will eat any stock Japanese car (including NSX), and most souped up ones. Put a few dollars under the hood of that Saleen and look out, no beefed Japanese car will touch it.

Mustangs are the best.
Dude, I just spend $90,000 on my Honda Civic and put 17 turbos on the 75 HP 4 cylinder, and that Mustang Saleen s351r just beat me by 9 car lengths.

(Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt)

A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

- Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder
- Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747
- Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool
- Expensive rims that usually cost more than the car itself
- Bodykit to make the car appear lower, usually accented with chicken wire
- Clear tail lights and corner signals
- A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine)
- Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, CRXs, RSXs, Del Sols Mitsubishi Eclipses, Lancers, Subaru Imprezas, however there are some domestics such as Chevrolet Caviliers, Dodge Neons, Ford Focus; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow. Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice. It really depends on the severity of the case.

The "ricer" attempts to make their car "performance" by adding the modifications listed above. These ricers are not confined to any one ethnic group or color, however different ethnic groups are known for certain styles.
Honda Civics with big spoilers and 4" exhaust tips are considered to be ricers.

ss
abreviation for "Schutzstaffel". Schutz meaing "Defense" in German, and Staffel meaning "Echelon" in German. The Schutzstaffel was an elite quasi-military unit of the Nazi party that served as Hitler's personal guard and as a special security force in Germany and the occupied countries.
Insipid neo-nazis, who are ignorant of history, often write "SS" on walls and other objects as graffiti.
