Synonyms, antonyms, and related words for liger

A big orange and black striped liony thing with sharp claws and rather a nasty bite. They don't usually eat men but that's only because they don't usually get the chance. Obviously, if you live near a tiger it may consider eating you. Basically, what I am saying is - the further away you live from a tiger, the less chance you have of getting eaten by one. I live in Selhurst in South London and NOBODY here has been eaten by a tiger since 1922 and I'm not even sure that it was a real tiger then (although I suppose if it ate someone it must have been a large carnivore so it may as well have been a tiger as anything else). Perhaps it was some sort of mock-tiger. Or maybe a stripey bear or something. I don't know, I wasn't even born then and you know what old people are like... The whole thing is probably a tissue of lies from start to finish. Anyway, thats sort of what a tiger is. So thats cleared that up then. Actually, I don't know why I bothered. I've never met a single person who didn't have some idea of what a tiger was so it seems a bit pointless describing one. I don't really think that the purpose of urban dictionary is to define the bleeding obvious. It really seems to be a forum for 'street' types to say things like "Yo!" and "Your mutherfucking sister's a ho!" and "Janice is such a slut" etc. Even such people as this probably know what a tiger is.
" I say George, your hand looks sore."
" Yeah, a tiger bit me. It's true, honest, go on, hit me in the stomach!"

or

"Mary, you'll never get anywhere in life by just lying around without a head, you know."
"Gurgle gurgle gurgle"
(Translation: "This is true mother, but as a tiger has bitten off my head and eaten it, I'm afraid I have no choice. In fact, that is the very reason why I'm finding it a little difficult to communicate with you at the moment and so I shall stop forthwith. Goodbye for ever")

A tigon is the hybrid of a male tiger and a female lion (lioness). A close cousin (and one quite often mistaken) is the liger, which is the hybrid of a female tiger and a male lion. Tigon are generally much smaller in size and its appearance is moreso like the father. Male offspring are generally infertile, while the females are still capable of giving birth. Not much is known on these felines as those who own them are generally keeping them illegally. Zoo's oftentimes will gain access to a tigon, though they refuse to breed tigers and lioness' to make tigon's on purpose. As such it is difficult to learn much about them. A tigon is 50% tiger and 50% lion. It has been believed that a ti-tigon (75% tiger, 25% lion) or a li-tigon (75% lion, 25% tiger) have been bred before, though the felines were never given proper scientific names. Ti-Tigon and Li-Tigon are simply slang names that were suggested.
When a male tiger should breed with a lioness, the offspring are called tigon's.

Colloquial; Synonym for hot bi babe or HBB, often derogatory, condescending, or ironic. A bisexual person, usually though not always female, who is willing to join an existing couple, often with the presumption that this person will date and become sexually involved with both members of that couple, and not demand anything or do anything which might cause problems or inconvenience to that couple.

The term is often used to be dismissive of a couple seen to be only superficially polyamorous. Because of the demands that this type of couple places on the woman (that she be single and not take on any additional partners, and become involved with both members of the couple equally, and often "complete" their family as a surrogate mother and housekeeper and/or breadwinner and not do anything that may threaten or disrupt the existing couple), many in the poly community call this type of woman a "unicorn", as in mythical and not likely to be found, even though there are plenty of bipoly women around.

Sometimes the unicorn is expected to not develop any emotional attachment and is strictly there for a sexual relationship (equally distributed to both members of the dyad) and/or is prescripted as a secondary. This term is used as a reminder that bipoly women are people with their own desires, needs, and pre-existing lives, and not fantasy figures or pets. See related prescriptive vs. descriptive.
John wants a single, attractive woman who will love and have sex equally with him and his wife, but not interfere with their marriage, move in together, help raise their kids but not have any of her own, and not have any other partners. He's looking for something that doesn't exist - he's looking for a unicorn!

An older woman who frequents clubs in order to score with a much younger man. The cougar can be anyone from an overly surgically altered wind tunnel victim, to an absolute sad and bloated old horn-meister, to a real hottie or milf. Cougars are gaining in popularity -- particularly the true hotties -- as young men find not only a sexual high, but many times a chick with her shit together.
That cougar I met last night, showed me shit I didn't know existed, I'm goin back for more.

Though used in daily speech, little is actually known about the flying fuck. Native to Africa, this flightless bird tends to be secretive and rarely allows itself to be visible, hence, examining it in it's natural habitat is nearly impossible. Due to their extreme lack of activity within the community, they were considered a rare commodity throughout several African villages. The term "I don't give a flying fuck" Originally meant that you could not put a price on such a item or service, but after translation and over use, the statement now means the exact opposite of this.
Jimmy left his flying fuck in the wagon, and now he has none. He can no longer give a "flying fuck", as he has none.
