Does just what its name says: supports civil liberties and constitutional rights
In more words it Supports:
-SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE- this stance tends to generate controversy b/c many people think they are trying to stop religious expression by the people when they are really trying to keep the government's nose out of religion and actually defend religious freedom (see below)
-*GASP* FREEDOM OF RELIGION- Yes, the ACLU defends people (including *GASP* Christians) who have been denied their rights to religious expression (two recent cases are an elementary school student who wanted to sing Awesome God at a school talent show, and a high school student whose senior quote was a verse from the Bible.
-FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND PRESS- (They even support the free speech rights of NAMBLA and the KKK, which some people mistakenly think this means they support the message; they do not, they just affirm that these groups have the right to speak out peacefully about their beliefs). The ACLU has also criticized the government for censoring "obscene" materials
-FREEDOM FROM CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT- they oppose police brutality, prison rape and other prison abuse, and (controversially) the death penalty
-FREEDOM FROM UNREASONABLE SEARCH AND SEIZURE AND RIGHT TO DUE PROCESS - Many people think this makes them favor terrorists; however if there was enough evidence to charge the "terrorists" with crimes, why doesn't the government do it? Also remember people said the same thing about Japanese Americans in WWII, and back then the ACLU was the ONLY major national organization to oppose the internment camps
-EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW- gay rights (including marriage), rights of the poor, racial and gender equality, transgender rights and youth rights - they oppose curfews and rules that require u to be an "adult" to buy porn/see R-rated movies (see free speech too)

The only glimmer of hope we have for America surviving the crises of the early 21st century.

A country where economic prosperity and near-zero political freedom coexist, while death penalty and incorruptibility are being practiced.

The term bigot means to be willingly ignorant or intolerant of another person's beliefs or opinions.

Bigotry is an accusation, which is often used by liberal and marxist types to condemn those people who are not of the same "tolerant" or "open minded" attitude as themselves.

By using this term they create what I call an infinite loop of intolerance.

If someone is accused of bigotry then the accusing party must also be intolerant of the accused persons intolerance; therefore, it is self evident that the term bigot in a sense, can not actually exist in a free society or open debate because of it's self-destructive, self-imploding and hypocritical nature.

The freedom to an opinion and the right to express it in a non-violent and non-threatening manner. It does not, as opposed to what many people think, grant the freedom to say anything without consequences.

What was once a beautiful video sharing website made by three former PayPal guys, it's now one owned by Google and it has changed for the absolute worse.

Thanks to Google, YouTube channels look very tacky.
Channel layouts are too big and users can't see their custom backgrounds well. There’s no changing it.

If you want a YouTube account, you are forced to get a Google account and merge it... which is why I didn't sign up.

More importantly, Google took away freedom of speech from YouTube. We can't upload videos of various content without them and these corporations breathing down our necks. Many awesome accounts and videos got pulled because of them. They should have their accounts and videos back.

That’s why we need the 3 dudes back. To get everything back to normal and put the “You” back in YouTube.

Any users reading this can put this in their video to help bring the good times back because I don't want YouTube to keep failing like this.
