A relatively new pop artist who looks like an badass version of Taylor Swift. That's not an insult, it's the truth.
She's primarily known for her song Tik Tok and appearing in Flo Rida's "Right Round." Not a particularily good singer or songwriter, Ke$ha often writes really crappy lyrics such as "There's a party at a rich dudes house so if ya wanna go then ya know oh" and "Now, the dudes are lining up cause they hear we got swagger but we kick em to the curb unless they look like Mick Jagger", the latter of which doesn't exactly make sense.
That being said, she does manage to write insanely and annoyingly catchy songs.

A disney movie that stars Zach Efron and a bunch of other 18-22 year olds that no one has really heard of.
It is the exact opposite what life is REALLY like. It has the same unoriginal plot that can be identified in most if not all Disney movies. (That is, the good guy always wins, the bullies get what they deserve, the two main characters fall madly in love)
Nonetheless, its a good movie to watch if you're looking for some lame jokes, catchy music, and a happy ending.

One of the most amazingly talented singer/songwriters in modern music. His lyrics are some of the most mysterious, undecipherable, and beautifully poetic words you'll ever hear. The only thing that matches his gift with lyrics is his talent for creating original, catchy, melodies. This is pop at its best, and this is music that will last the test of time. If you have the chance to see him live, don't pass it up, he is one of the greatest live performers you could ever see.
Andrew Bird is one of the best modern lyricists, second only maybe to Thom Yorke.

A kickass band that released one of the coolest post-hardcore albums ever, "To Plant A Seed", and two EPs, "Demonstrations" and "Dreams". Their catchy lyrics and guitar riffs are coupled by outstanding bass and enveloping drum fills. Both unclean and clean vocals are major parts of their music, each singer having a unique tone and projection. They aren't a Christian band, but their lyrics have an uplifting, positive theme to them. Overall, they deserve more popularity than they recieve.

Jamie T, or Jamie Treays, is an extremely talented 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Wimbledon. He advertises and tours with his band, going under the full name of 'Jamie T and the Pacemakers". Some of his songs include "Sheila", "Calm Down Dearest", and "Sticks 'n' Stones". My personal favorite is "St. Christopher" off of the Sticks 'n' Stones EP. it's beautiful and i fall asleep listening to it.
