Most commonly used in reference to the game of Mario Kart.
Lloyd's Law describes the inevitability that a player who is too good for their opponents will succumb to frequent, untimely 'Blue Shells'. The accuracy of this law is such that lesser players often rely on it to win games.
This is often confused with the lesser-known "Hogg's Law", which describes the demise of a player who excessively over-exaggerates their skill level before a race.
Looks like I'm gonna have to rely on Lloyd's Law again, this guy's miles ahead!! I wish I wasn't so rubbish!
