Terrorism committed in the name of Islam, and even permitted by suras in the Quran; for instance, Muslims were (and are) commanded to 'slay the idolaters wherever you find them' (Sura 9:5), and to fight the people of the book, 'until they pay the tribute out of hand and have been humbled' (Sura 9:29).
These passages are different from Old Testament passages in that Quranic language transcends time and space inciting believers to attack the non-believers today no less than yesterday: the Quran is prescriptive, but the Old Testament is merely descriptive.
'Dhimwhits' often object to the term 'Islamic terrorism', as it goes against their multi-cultural biases.
John-- 'The suicide bombing wasn't Islamic terrorism, the bombers just happened to be Muslims'.
Mike-- 'Not all Muslims are terrorists, but almost ALL terrorists are Muslims!'
