Chrome Zealot 

A believer in a vaperware operating system designed by an advertising conglomerate front to a government project. These zealots claim their roots in a rarely used member of Web 2.0 technologies, the Chrome internet browser. The browser origins derived from a CIA scheme to gather intelligence on consumers using spyware to predict market swings, binge drinking at urban raves, rises in online discussions of conspiracy theories, trends in the porn industry, and communist activity in the far east. These believers, found in universities, wear the traditional rainbow colored suspenders indicative of the clan, and greet each other with the phrase “epic fail” followed by a rubbing of the left elbows. The FBI, perpetually suspicious of the CIA tricks against American citizens, invested millions in investigating the browser’s intelligence gathering activities but abandoned the case when cult membership dwindled to several dozen members. As the FBI director put it before the senate intelligence committee, “what can you expect from commi’s turned capitalists…it’s a total piece of shit. It serves the CIA right for putting Russians in charge of the project. It’s an epic boondoggle, a violation of the constitution, and a waste of money. The money would be better spent on electric mini-bikes, proving Joe Biden is Jimmy Hoffa, and a wax museum showcasing the late J. Edgar Hoover estate’s rare collection of pantyhose, corsets, and early twentieth century braziers.”

Totalitarian Media Zealots 

An umbrella term describing a growing number of intrusive celebrity gossip blogs,and entertainment news websites. An abbreviated form of term i.e "TMZ" serves as the title for the popular entertainment news site TMZ.com.

A totalitarian media zealot can be easily described as a faux journalist employed to "find the scoop", "breaking the story", "dig up the dirt", and "spread rumors" on high profile individuals in the entertainment industry.

The credibility and ethics of totalitarian media zealots is perpetually in question as they become even more intrusive, libelous, and blantantly shirk the rights to privacy of our favorite television, music, and movie stars.

Totalitarian media zealots are commonly known to amass large standing armies of paparazzi. Not to be confused with a "press photographer", paarazzi are ruthless paid mercenaries of totalitarian media zealots. TMZ paparazzi is dispatched to any location where a known celebrity is spotted and usually it is not a red carpet event. Personal privacy is habitually disregarded by a totalitarian media zealot paparazzo for the sake of achieving an impromptu photo or video of the celebrity.

Totalitarian media zealots are proving to be menace to American society as the demand for quick and easy access to celebrity "infotainment", "gossip", and "rumors" increases exponentially. The spread of zealous media totalitarianism is currently undermining the integrity of journalism as the unethical tactics utilized by TMZ are being adopted by reputable press outlets.

Linux Zealot 

Somone who Zealously defends the superiority of the Linux operating system. The typical Linux Zealot hangs around a forum or IRC channel and answers questions that blatently refer to Microsoft windows with questions like "What operating system are you using?" or replies with instructions that relate to Linux.
Many Linux Zealots know very little about the operation of the Linux operating system and are simply trying to gain respect from fellow Linux users.

I went to a linux help channel to ask how to make this software work but I was called a lamer and told to read the documentation which from what I can tell dosen't exist.

Subtitle Zealot 

An extreme anime nut (see otaku) who refuses to watch any anime cartoon with anything other than the original Japanese voice acting. Anything English on their screen other than subtitles will immediately induce a screaming, whining fit. Claims that even an excellent English dub somehow ruins the original "integrity" or "beauty" of the series. May have some substance to their argument, as anime is often "dumbed down" or censored for North American audiences, but any decent points are drowned out by their yelling about subtitles, as if they were Satan himself and were violently raping their mother in front of them at the time.

Often may make an attempt to learn Japanese so they can do away with subtitles altogether. May also attend an anime convention, cosplay, or enjoy reading MegaTokyo. Extremely vocal nutcase which should generally be avoided at all costs.

zealotism 

Zealotism represents a state of mind in which one is so embedded into their religious beliefs that they can no longer see the difference between common beliefs and ones that are simply fictitious. The ability to recognise fictitious beliefs disappears when one accepts, without question, that all their beliefs are held to be totally true in their mind model of their surrounding world.

There are several conditions that indicate the state of zealotism:
1. Representing your views as though they are the views of all others who follow the top category of your faith

2. Scaring or threatening people, whether deliberately or through the ideals of trying to help them

3. Attempting to help others when:
a. You know that they know where to find help already
b. They have rejected a previous offer for help
c. They have made it clear that they do not want to hear your offer of help

The state of zealotism results in one not being able to use coherent logic due to being completely inflexible with any beliefs that they might hold. As a consequence, one may incorrectly compare analogies which would be seen as circumstantial in relation to each other. The only over riding factors in zealotism are common interests, for example helping to save someone's life, and the law, which is said to be held true by all people under its jurisdiction.

An example that is zealotism:
"If you repent now you will not go to hell"

An example that is not zealotism:
"I am sure you can find a source of strength in God"
