I got my mojo working — a war cry of successful Blues Singers who win the crowd for which they are playing through their musical mastery and charismatic stage presence. If you are ever playing your heart out and women start throwing their panties your stage YOU GOT YOUR MOJO WORKING.

This phrase entered the mainstream through the song I Got My Mojo Working written by Preston “Red” Foster. This song was first performed by Ann Cole but made famous by Muddy Waters.

The word “mojo” is a reference to sympathetic magic used to bend reality to bless or to curse an individual. worktron: a early-to-mid career corporate employee engaged in mindless, repetitive tasks, for low salary and few benefits. Generally treated as expendable by upper management, known to live in fear of layoffs and termination. Not known for high job satisfaction.

An employee who is considered a cog or piece of an overall corporate machine; replaceable, irrelevant.
