|1.||Workers Comp Punk'd|
When a client of a workers comp attorney is rightfully injured from his job yet the insurance company stops sending him checks claiming there is an overpayment. After several months of not receiving check and not allowed to work, the client goes broke. This situation is called by this name because the attorney fooled the client into thinking they were handling the matter and that the client will be getting a check. When the client runs out of money, the attorney shows little remorse on the matter nor suggests any alternatives other then go apply for welfare.
I was on workers comp and they stopped sending me check claiming they overpaid me. Two months went by and I still didn't have a check. I got thrown out of my apartment and I had to turn in the plates on my car because I couldn't pay my car insurance. I totally got Workers Comp Punk'd !!!
Another word for working class. Often used in a derogatory sense for people who sell their ability to work, rather than a finished or half-product. The means of production which they use are owned by someone else, they work for a set wage rather than a profit. Proletariat (litt. 'those who only have their children') is usually associated with factory workers. Working under dismal circumstances. But in many non-industrialised countries, those working in a factory and referred to as 'proletariat' regard this work as a huge step up from working on the farm, which in turn is a huge improvement over subsistence farming.
This example deals with the Eurorean Union, in particular the Euro area. Some character sets do not display the euro symbol corretly. You will see '€' in its stead.more...
A shirt is sold for €12. The sales tax is between €2 and €3 depending on the country, the shopkeeper doubles or even triples his/her purchase price to arrive at the sales price. He tells us that this is to cover his costs, which include his director's salary and perks. At best, €5 is available for the earlier steps in the production chain, at worst €3.
The middle man tries for as high a margin as he can get.
Workers - deemed 'the proletariat' - are paid €0.50 per shirt made, the cotton costs another €0.50 a shirt. The garment boss spends €1 on shipping, €0.50 on protecting his business (includes bribes where needed), and €0.25 on premises and admin. The boss makes €0.25 a shirt, double that if he is 'well-connected'.
Ironically, the shop with the higher margin must buy lower priced goods to compete on price with more efficient shops. These are likely goods which the middle man must have found harder to sell at a higher price.
Something may well be wrong here, but please, don't ask me to point out what ... the workers are free to remain farm hands, or subsistence farmers, yet choose the factory, thus keeping the cost of labour low; planned systems where appointees decide how many shirts people want and what these will look like do not seem to have been all that successful?
Foreign aid-workers in Africa!
Like in many other developing parts of the world, African people are xenophobic at best and are biased against the white aid-workers who risk their lives in order to give help and much-needed aid to those revolving bastards!
Aid workers aren't even saved by irony: they are known as mere pinkies to Africans!
an act in which ten sweaty Mexican migrant workers (with dirt 'staches) named Diego, Esteban, Pancho, Paco, Chico, Alfonso, Juan-Carlos, Pedro, Raul, Sergio. They all take turns gangbanging (five at a time) one migrant wench with a hairy bush. And then rotate to the next group of five.
***MUST BE NAMED ABOVE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PERFORM CINCO! CINCO!
"Ten migrant workers performed Cinco! Cinco! on me. Those sweaty hombres sure did run a train on me last nite after i passed out in the cornfield... it wasnt all that bad... except for the fact that my ass can now fit ten tamales in it... but all in all... GOATSE!!!"
A gang formed by 8th grade girls in 2008. They get demerits on purpose almost everyday. To get in this gang you have to get a demerit on purpose. Their sign is a okay sign language thing. The point finger and the thumb is the "C" for construction and the other three fingers turn out to be a "W" for workers. Everyone in this group has to be sexy(: If not fuck you;; your not in it.
OMGGGG! I want to be in the Construction workers sooo badly!
DAMNNNN! look at those construction workers. They got in going on. I wish i was in it!
1. A person who works with at-risk populations.
Some who work in this field are wounded healers, some people are burnt out, but many realize the gravity of the work they perform and have a great deal of empathy and compassion for the people they serve. Sometimes a social worker's involvement is unnecessary, but many times it is needed. Many people have negative experiences with social workers because the social worker comes into their life when their family is in crisis. This is specifically the case in child welfare, but understand it is known among child welfare social workers, that child welfare is the most intrusive form of government.
Social workers are not just child welfare workers, but mental health counselors/therapists, non-profit workers (such as domestic violence shelters, group home workers, family resource centers), hospital staff, some lawyers and judges, lobbyists, drug treatment counselors and many more.
The social workers helped me realize it was time to get off drugs.
A clique of people at work who constanly goof off, socialize, and waste company time with one another.
Cole: I swear it's always a party over where i sit. Do thoses slackers have nothing to do?!
Alex: I wish the boss would catch all those Monkey Workers in the act.
