| 3. | Jenny moment | ||
|
n. A moment whereby a person suddenly goes batshit crazy during a discussion in either:-
(a) an overtly hysterical manner; or (b) a more subtle, understated fashion, complete with crazy eyes. The moment is defined less by behaviour and more by the nature of the rant. This is usually a situation that makes everyone else in the room uncomfortable and causes a considerable period of silence. The person can sometimes hit upon the truth in their rant, but mostly this is overlooked due to their bizarre and often inappropriate behaviour. Named for the many such moments involving the character Jenny Schecter from The L Word. Everything was going fine over dinner until she had a Jenny moment and started to talk about her masturbatory habits at the table in front of all my work colleagues.

| 4. | Big-Lipped Alligator moment | ||

Named for a scene from the animated film "All Dogs Go To Heaven" featuring an alligator singing an over the top musical number with no relation to the plot that is never mentioned again in the movie afterward, a big-lipped alligator moment is a moment of intentional intense randomness and absurdity. my friend was talking about his classes and suddenly had a big-lipped alligator moment and talked about his banjo playing skills for 30 seconds.

When watching a movie with family members and an unexpected sex scene comes on and no one will make a sound. Also when two friends who had a one night stand together but refused to talk about it because it was weird watch a movie and a sex scene comes on. When a family is having a great laugh and a sex scene come one and suddenly the room is silent and you can hear everyone gulping nervously and hear their sweat dripping.
Mom: "Oh my what an awkward film sex moment!" Or When two friends who have a sexual history are watching a movie together for fun and a sex scene comes on, and the room suddenly gets hotter and weirder. Mary: "Awkward..." Timmy: "Can we do that again?" Mary: "........" |

when someone says something either completely outrageous, stupid, or way off topic or subject that it lead to a temporary moment of silence, weird stares. and awkwardness at that persons expense. Guy 1: hey guys since I'm getting married in two days lets hold a kick ass bachelor party!
Other guys: yeah!!!!! Guy 4: then we can bring over hookers to hit us in the junk! *silent moment* from the South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut movie Kyle's mom: what is a Rim Job? Cartman's mom: oh, that's when you put your leg behind your head and someone licks your ass. *silent moment* |
