A hand tool for pulling weeds from the soil, such as in gardens and lawns. Many such tools have long handles and different mechanisms for grasping the roots of weeds and lifting the roots with the entire plant from the soil.
Maria has a sore back, so she borrowed a weed puller tool from Xochitl to twist out the large mallow weeds that Roundup can't kill.
