Wanganui has over the years has become a centre for maori activism with (motua gardens) in the mid 90s and the home to wankers such as ken meare.

no doubt, the best high school in the Wanganui region. if you're white you dont need to fear being 'stepped out' for your shoes or ipod. if you like basketball you can come chill at the courts. generally an all round good school with no gang bullshit like 'city up' etc etc. more white people then city college and cullinane. less snobbish then colligate. girls college comes close but only because of the high amount of females.
