A way to downplay the buzzkill of "waiver" when a group activity is fun, cool, and only slightly dangerous. To be used when: "Please sign the waiver" sounds too uptight. "Waiver" to "Waivage" has the same semantics as "doobie" going to "doobage", and "acre" going to "acreage". Group Bike Ride Organizer: "Hey gang, sign the waivage before we take off"
Group Bike Ride Participant: "That's cool. I already signed it. I'm ready to haul!" |
