The doctor for animals. Commonly known as a vet because the word veteranarian is just too damn long to say, and takes 30 years to learn how to spell. Vets can major is different groups of animals: Large, small, and exotic animal vets are the most widely known. However vets can also specialize in one type of animal i.e. an avian vet. To become a vet you have to be near brilliant and passionate about animals; and you have to be comfortable with animals biting, scratching, and trying to kill you. Damn, my cat is sick again! I guess I'll have to go to a veteranarian so they can charge me $900 for who knows what.
