Cockeysville, MD is approximately 15 miles north of Baltimore City off of I-83. As it shares a zip code with Hunt Valley, it is sometimes referred to as Cockeysville-Hunt Valley.

York Road is the main drag and looks like any American suburb, with strip malls as far as the eye can see. However, it doesn't take long once you venture off York Rd. to find areas sprawling with fairly modern apartment complexes, large single-family homes and mini-estates.

Baltimore County Home park, Long Ridge Golf Course, Oregon Ridge Park, The North Central Railroad Trail, and the woods around Loch Raven offer plenty of areas to get away from the suburban scene.

The population is a mix of just about everything, as the local elementary school shows - Padonia International School.

Over all, it's a pretty cool place to live.

AKA tornado valley- a plot of acres stuck between macon and warner robins GA that became it's own city probably when tornadoes ripped through it back in the day and cleared out some trees. A place where people move to get away from macon or warner robins.. damn that tells you how bad the other 2 are.

Monaca is a small town located in Beaver County, PA. It is known for all of the great "Monaca Indians" fans! The people of Monaca are very full of spirit for their hometown and mascot, the Indian. Those who attend/graduated from Monaca Jr/Sr High School bleed Red & Blue, and will always!

The bridge between Monaca & Rochester (Monaca's RIVALS), is currently known as the MONACA Rochester bridge. Every year a High School football game is held between Monaca & Rochester for the title of the Bridge. Monaca holds that title, and will forever hold that title.

Due to the small number of people in the high school, everybody knows each other and became great friends. A bond has been formed that cannot be broken!

The monaca school district will be merging with Center school district, taking effect in 2010. The new school district will be named: The Central Valley Warriors.

Most people are opposed to the change.

The Matanuska Valley, located in South Central Alaska, is one of two huge valleys. Susitna being the other which form the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Both valleys were formed by three seperate glaciers grinding down and carving through the mountains over millions of years.
The extremely nutrient-rich, soils in this area are due to the volcanic activity combining with the glacier's deep churning of the soil. Between the rich soil and the long days of sunlight in the summer, the area has become world renown for it's gigantic vegetables and it's famed cannabis.
Although, The Matanuska and Susitna valleys combine to form one area. The two valleys are often thought of as being seperate, Matanuska being developed mainly for farming which isn't the case with Susitna.
Palmer, which is were the Alaska State Fair is held, is often thought of as being the official center and the Gem of the Matanuska Valley.
