Abbreviation for "The Kill Everyone Project". The project began on May 9, 2001 on a website called Homokaasu run by a person named Gasmaster. The object of the game was to eliminate everybody on Earth by clicking. (One click would kill one person.) Because humans would regenerate at 3 lives per second, players were making nominal progress until Greg Dean of Real Life listed TKEP as the Cool Link of the Week, bringing approximately 20,000 new players to the game. The project was finally completed 2,179 days after it's beginning, on April 26, 2007. The player who finished with the most kills was named Tyreal with 600 million kills, although it is widely suspected that he cheated. The game ultimately ended with the rather anticlimactic message 'Horray! Project complete!'
Guy 1: Dude, I haven't seen you in eight months. What happened?

Guy 2: TKEP happened... *right index finger starts twitching rapidly*
