Fool If You Think It’s Over

A dying flame, you're free again
Who could love and do that to you
All dressed in black, he won't be coming back
Save your tears, you've got years and years
The pains of seventeen's
Unreal they're only dreams
Save your crying for the day

Fool if you think it's over
'Cos you said goodbye
Fool if you think it's over
I'll tell you why
New born eyes always cry with pain
At the first look at the morning sun
You're a fool if you think it's over
It's just begun

Miss teenage dream, such a tragic scene
He knocked your crown, and ran away
First wound of pride and how you cried and cried
But save your tears you've got years and years

Fool if you think it's over
'Cos you said goodbye
Fool if you think it's over
I'll tell you why
New born eyes always cry with pain
At the first look at the morning sun
You're a fool if you think it's over
It's just begun
I'll buy your first good wine
We'll have a real good time
Save your crying for the day
That may not come but anyone
Who had to pay would laugh at you and say

Fool if you think it's over
'Cos you said goodbye
Fool if you think it's over
I'll tell you why

I'll buy your first good wine
We'll have a real good time
Fool if you think it's over
I'll tell you why

New born eyes always cry with pain
At the first look at the morning sun
Fool if you think it's over
It's just begun

They Think It's All Over

Massively popular phrase used all the time in England to describe that exhilerating moment just before a big event like a victory or a total fuck-up. Comes from the famous commentary in the closing moments of the 1966 World Cup Final - "Some people are on the pitch ... they think it's all over (Geoff Hurst scores to put England two goals ahead)... IT IS NOW!". England beat West Germany 4-2 after extra time to become world champions. Too bad we can't do the business on the pitch these days...
"Look over there - Dave's breaking up with Donna. They Think It's All Over...it is now".

Thank God it’s all over!

The long awaited joyful exclamation, the parallel sentiment to “Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead!” from The Wizard of Oz,” that most sane folk will be feeling, as the Extortionist in Chief is led out of the White House in shiny handcuffs and a handsome straightjacket.
We can all begin the recovery now and breathe a mass sigh of relief as we say in unison, “thank God it’s all over!”

How bout dem knicks?

A phrase referring twoard the New York Knicks.
Its usually said to break an unplesent moment of silence.
Guy 1: I think I may be gay.
Guy 2: ...

Power Couple

A relationship between two people who are equally as cool as each other. They are as individually awesome and fun to be around as they are when they are together.

Neither one depends on the other for their feelings of self worth- they know in their heart that they are just as valuable to the world as the other. Good looking, optimistic, and sparks a light in the world that people recognize that goes beyond a normal relationship.

In a power couple, if one person is flawed, the other person makes up for their weaknesses in strength. Together they are the epitome of what anyone would desire in a relationship. They encourage goodness in the world and make it a better place by being together.
I'm a fan of those two, they are such a power couple, the epitome of what anyone would want in a relationship.

I am envious of them because they are a power couple.

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.
