The Mod Club

A club in Toronto, Canada that prides itself on being "mod" and "underground", except the only people that go there are ginos and ginas. They advertise to the rest of the world that they are the coolest club in Toronto, when it is actually full of pompous old dj's that creep other peoples nights in the city and steal their music. They are always about a year behind in their music selections and are an embarassment to a truly great city.
hey guys, i'm in the mood to get hit on by 40 year-old men, pay too much money for drinks and dance to the Killers...wanna just go to the Mod Club?

The Mod God

The mod god is a 6’4” 300+ pound buff Mexican man, originating out of Orting, WA.

The mod god is something of a tale, or a myth in the small Orting community, he’s known for his major dank OHS bathroom hotboxes.

In the mod god’s free time he enjoys drinking Cranberry juice and dapping up the homies, the mod god has a golden aura and is hard to miss, an absolutely beautiful specimen.

To spot the mod god in public, is equal to spotting michael jackson walking the earth after death, or comparable to discovering time travel.
Hey dude, did you see the Mod God’s latest cloud?

The Mod Delusion

The mod delusion occurs on internet forums, usually during heated debate about a given subject matter, where the moderators are actually engaged in the discussion, rather than sitting on the sidelines tight-lipped, as forum members seem to expect them to remain.
A forum member (usually one with a lower than average IQ) who is unable to accurately express his opinions, and/or who is clearly losing the argument, essentially breaks off from the logical reasoning, and claims one of several unrelated things - that the forum is run by power-hungry moderators, that the given moderator is a bad example of his role, or simply that its not fair…
The member fails to appreciate that a moderator is himself a member, and entitled to his opinion, and that (unless he is secretely editing the members posts) he is not abusing his position in any way by expressing them. The member is instead making himself look like a petulant child who is throwing his toys out of the pram because he is being outsmarted.
Member: I think the best colour is red
Moderator: I think its Blue.
Member: yeah, whatever, its Red.
Moderator: Its clearly Blue, based on independta studies carried out around the world, and pschyo-chromatic qualities of the colour blue, as evidenced through the last 2000 years of human art and design.
Member: OMFG dis forum is run by colour nazi's! You shouldnt be allowed to b a mod, im leaving, nothing you can say will make me stay, im never coming back
Moderator: Another example of the mod delusion. Bye

The Nameless Mod

Derived from the ultimate God game of Games: Deus Ex. The Nameless Mod (TNM) was created by a group of gaming enthusiasts over a period of seven (yes, SEVEN) years. DEDICATION FTW. It is based around an internet forum city, where you play the protagonist, an ex-moderator called Trestkon. You choose which side to play on. You choose your friends, and your enemies. The game relies on your sneaking, spying, tricking, fighting, outwitting and outsmarting the other side.

Warren Spector (creator of Deus Ex) personally lauded this mod in the Off Topic Productions forum.
Australian PC PowerPlay magazine gave it a 9/10.
TNM also made first place Mod DB's Editor's Choice for Single-Player Mod of the Year.
I've finished playing Deus Ex, now what do I do with my life?
Play The Nameless Mod, bro!
Duh, of course!!
