A show that used to be great. Jon Stewart was always funny, and it had Stephen Colbert as a field reporter. Then, Colbert left and The Daily Show got way too serious. Instead of clever written jokes, Stewart resorted to saying Bush is stupid a million different ways. The show is occasionally funny, just not as good as it used to be. Also, there are people who watch this to get their real news. If you watch it as a comedy program, that's fine(even though it isn't as funny anymore.) If you watch this show to get your news and opinions on things, you should be shot.
The Daily Show used to be great but now it is just average. The Colbert Report is much funnier, watch that.

An American satire news show that airs Mon-Thurs at 11/10c on Comedy Central. Features Jon Stewart as the anchorman, with a full correspondant team, including people such as John Oliver and, formerly, Stephen Colbert.

It was a lot more entertaining in the days of Colbert, even though Colbert wasn't that funny. Since The Colbert Report began to air right after, the writers for the shows have brought the writing down to one liberal (TDS) theme and one conservative (TCR) theme. I could personally do without all the bias on both shows, but, since the split, TDS has lacked personality, merely coming down to almost the liberal version of Glenn Beck.
I watch the Daily Show and the Colbert Report every night, to get both sides, and a good laugh in between.

The best and most reliable news show in the world. Actually reports the news and the truth, and is hosted by perhaps the most iconic man in America along with Colbert, Jon Stewart. Also has the best fucking news team on the planet.

a truly awsome show. I agree with what everyone else has posted on this, cept for this guy. I just had to say this lol...

"Some people, also known as "major contributors to the downfall of America", actually use it as their only source of news. No, you stupid faggots, it is not the only reliable news source, because it is on fucking Comedy Central. Jesus Christ, even Jon Stewart knows this."

"its limp-wristed commie fanboys should all be kicked in the nuts"

I guess us fans are now communists, and homosexuals. What next? terrorists!? Better yet, "major contributors to the downfall of America" Dude, if ANYONE is contributing to the 'downfall of America', its you.

The only thing that could top off this post was his name: o_rly_factor

Of COURSE the guy who puts down a good quality show and its fans, loves a show where the host is an arrogant asshole who doesnt know anything about hosting a good intellectual debate, but only badgering the guests that disagree with him.
"Even great things like The Daily Show can be ruined by morons." YEAH, BY MORONS LIKE YOURSELF!
