Textration 

The feeling of frustration one gets when they are texting someone and the other person doesn't reply fast enough. Often occurs after more than five to ten minutes of waiting for their reply

Common situation of textration:

(Over text)

Guy: "Hey whats up?"

Girl: "Hey nothing really, you?"

Guy: "Just got home. Wanna hang out later?"

Girl: "Yeah sure, when?"

Guy: "Around 5? Is that good?"

(After 30 minutes of waiting for the reply, the frustration has set in)

(Thinking) Guy: "Come on answer back.."

10 more minutes

Girl: "Sure, 5 o'clock is good."

(Thinking) Guy: "FINALLY!!"

Past Tense The act of texting that causes to turn away from the original focus of attention or interest.

I got off the elevator on the wrong floor because I was textracted.

Officer: Do you realize how fast you were driving?

He/She: I am very sorry, Officer. I was textracted!

A person who operates your handheld device while you are driving or otherwise incapacitated.

My girl Nena is my Textratary when we go on road trips. She's awesome! I can keep up with all my texts while I'm driving! I love multitasking!

(adj.): When a person either (1) takes a ridiculously long time to respond to a text message due to other distractions or (2) ignores his or her surroundings because he/she is too focused on texting. These seemingly conflicting meanings can never occur simultaneously.

Ex 1)
You: Hey!
Sheila: Hey, dude.

(5 hours later) Sheila: Oops! Sorry! I love you, too...I was just textracted.

Textratary 

In cities where there are bans on texting while driving, the textratary is the title given to any person, usually whomever is sitting in the passenger seat of the car, that will type out your message for you so that you can have a conversation with your friends. The only down side to this is that the textratary could end up talking to all of your friends while your driving.

As soon as Jim gets in the car he gives his phone to his textratary so that he can focus more on the road.

n. When the majority of someone’s free time after school is spent texting (and racking up a huge phone bill), as opposed to doing anything productive, or even social (the old-school way, that is).
