look up any word, like bootylicious:
1. Techno Peasant
Someone who knows nothing, or has limited knowledge about technology.
Sally - 'Whats the difference between internet and intranet?
Brett - 'God! you're the biggest techno peasant!'
2. Techno Boy
A male with a strong affinity for technology and it's operation. They are typically called upon by others in 'technological' emergencies as informal I.T. advisors. (E.g. when someone can't navigate their way through their iPod menu's, is struggling to upload something, or is crashing their Windows-based machine for the umpteenth time for no apparent good reason). The technoboy may well have a variety of gadgets and machines at his disposal, but mainly it is his knowledge of how machines function and how to fix them when they crash or go wrong that results in the use of 'technoboy'.
Female X is desperate to complete her essay but her machine keeps crashing. She calls upon techno boy to help out. Otherwise she would probably not go near him.
3. techno-peasant
Someone who has been shunned from the tech savvy world we now live in. Many software programs require some software, computer or tech knowledge to operate. Not having this basic knowledge can leave you confused. Programs written for techno-peasants are the key to these individuals future.
I received an email from a volunteer saying that "even a techno-peasant can understand Shiftboard and picked up their shifts for our event. Scheduling made easy for even us techno-peasants"!
4. techno
A type of electronic music that orginally spawned in Detroit, Michigan. Detroit Techno in turn derived from Synth Pop and Electro. Kraftwerk was May, Atkins, and Saunderson's main influence. Techno is nothing but a subgenre in the electronic music community. Detroit Techno is still very much alive, albeit dead in the city of Detroit (hmmmmm, wonder why....). Techno is also a word that is erroneously used as a blanket term for all other subgenres of electronic music. No, Techno isn't the Trance and House music you hear in the clubs, morons! They're all different! That being said, it may be done with electronic equipment, but it takes true talent to make music that is coherent and actually artistic, much opposed to the radio triteness the public has been exposed to. Electronic music was descended from Avant-Garde Minimalism, which in turn, evolved from Classical Music.
Good artists worth hearing:
Aphex Twin
Squarepusher
mu-ziq
Plastikman
The Prodigy
Orbital
The Chemical Brothers
Moby
Daft Punk
Cybotron
Derrick May
Inner City
**much more other artists as well**

Oh yeah, and to those people who dis techno, but love the trite, bastardised "hip hop", I truly feel sorry for you people. You have no idea or any coherent knowledge of techno, and you still wail on in how it's the worst thing ever. Guess what? Look yourself in the mirror, and stop being a damn sheep.

5. techno-tard
anyone who has absolutely no knowledge of modern technology
he couldnt even figure out how to switch on his monitor....what a techno-tard
6. Techno Hippie
A term used for someone who likes the technology of 'their' present. but doesn't like the idea of consuming both 'lots of resources' and 'chemicals into their bodies'.

some one who believes both technology and nature can live in harmony, but also believe that people just need to give them both a chance.
"Let technology live on but lets use the knowledge of our ancestors to keep us going." this is often what a Techno Hippie would say.
7. technohippy
1. a computer nerd with hippy ideals

2. there are cyberpunks and script kiddies, but technohippies are a breed of their own. they are not malacious, but only interested in the way things work. usually not the "l33test", (in terms of knowledge of a specific area), but they have a broad wisdom of many different technologies. the favored music of the technohippy consists of (but is not limited to): post-rock, electronica, ambience, eccentric cultural music, and any other obscure music. technohippies are often very philosophical, but are open to new ideas (as long as they are somewhat intelligent). ignorance and hatred is looked down upon by the technohippy, and some may even be a bit cynical. all in all, a technohippy is a philisophically-open eccentric geek.
1. look at those technohippies, marching for their rights to share music

2. i am not a hacker. i am not a cyberpunk. i am a technohippy.
