A progressive metal
band from New Jersey, Symphony X includes members Michael Romeo (guitars), Russell Allen (vocals), Michael Pinnella (keyboards), Jason Rullo (drums), and Michael LePond (bass). The band officially has more members named Michael than any other in history. They draw from a wide range of influences — everything from Bach and Mozart to Kiss and Yngwie Malmsteen — and their songs deal mostly with ancient history and mythology. Each member boasts exceptional skill, most notably Romeo and Allen (guitars and vocals, respectively).
I loved Symphony X's "Divine Wings of Tragedy" album! Michael Romeo makes Yngwie look like Jack White!
Most under-rated band ever. Holy crap the guitarist is good. and kinda large, but damn. Arpeggio's like none other. and the vocalist is pretty good too. I guess the other stuff is good. damnit i love this band
Symphony X rocks my socks off
Amazing band, with an amazing vocalist. Russell Allen kicks all sorts of ass. His work with Symphony X and Star One is powerful. Oh yeah, and they're from Jersey, not Europe.
Symphony X's singer, Russell Allen, owns.
One of the best metal bands ever. They make really long songs that aren't repetetive and stay fresH and make you want more. Their synthesizer and guitar solos kick ass.
guy 1 - Did you go to the Symphony X concert last night?
guy 2 - Yes, it kicked fucking ass!
other band - it kicked my ass *walks away, buttless*
When God told Chuck Norris about how He took a rib from Adam and made Eve, Chuck Norris decided to try it on himself, thus creating Symphony X. Michael Romeo's guitar is actually made of pure heavy metal and was given to him by Jesus at their high school reunion.
Noob: Who's Symphony X?
Winnar: Everything that is right about music.
A cool but silly rock group that plays a crossbreed of hard rock and the Star Wars soundtrack. They have a cool singer who uses a sword at concerts, and their guitarist is extremely fat, but he still plays fast. The only bad part about them, is that they're from New Jersey.
Symphony X are the best part of new Jersey
