Recent trend found among youths of Anabaptist communities in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Affected communities include Amish, Mennonite and Bretheren groups. It is not known whether Bruderhof and Hutterite youth are also engaging in this activity. The act itself involves the clandestine utilization of livestock, primarily cattle, for the purpose of standing, non-seated, riding. The behavior is thought to result from emulation of non-Anabaptist, i.e. "English" or "fancy people," sports such as surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. Although not dangerous to the animals themselves, there has been a marked increase since mid-2006 in the number of unexplained "falls" by Anabaptist teenagers. In September of 2009 the CDC issued a bulletin that both notified rural healthcare professionals of the alarming trend and provided counseling guidelines. Surfing the internet at work, while appearing to be very busy working. Usually accomplished by having several documents / programs open on your computer, while you surf the web. With one click, you are back to studying that interminable excel spreadsheet. "Dude, I have so much work on my plate, but I spent the morning stealth surfing."

| 21. | Taxi surfing | ||
|
Jumping on top of an un/suspecting cab/taxi and surfing/balancing around london(or wherever you may be) for as long as you can while it is in motion. If you are feeling extra skilled try and do it on a skateboard on top of the taxi. I am yet to find someone who will actaully give Taxi surfing a real go.
Although some people have been known to grab onto the back of a taxi. Standing/ Skating on top of one in motion would be a serious challenge. |
