The Latin Kings are the oldest and largest hispanic street gang, commencing in the 1940’s in their “Motherland," Chicago, Illinois. The gang’s founders were Puerto Rican immigrants, whose unification movement actually originated as a Hispanic prisoners’ rights group in the Chicago area which eventually spread throughout United States prisons. The gang’s main objective developed into a unified force that protected the gang’s neighborhood or “turf.” Their battles with rival gangs ultimately led the Latin Kings to develop a reputation as a violent street gang. Latin King documents reveal that Gino Gustavo Colon (a.k.a. "Lord Gino") is considered the "SUN" of the Almighty Latin King Nation in Chicago and has been for a long time. Currently he is serving a life sentence in federal prison due to a 25-count indictment, which includes charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and other drugs. Latin King headquarters is located on Beach and Spaulding in Northwest Chicago. Luis Felipe (a.k.a. King Blood) started his own chapter of the Almighty Latin King and Queen Nation with the permission of his superiors in Chicago. He designated himself as Inca and Supreme Crown of New York State. In 1995 Antonio Fernandez (a.k.a. King Tone) was designated Inca and Supreme Crown of New York State and New Jersey, and the ALKQN once again began a transformation.

A Nation of oppressed people whos true intentinos are to overcome the oppressive bonds of what ever society/govermnet/group bestows upon them. Although commonly mistaken as a criminal street gang the ALKQN is actualy a revolutionary group, and only a gang by definition(A group of people with a common cause/identifier). There are members who do actively participate in illegal activity, however the teachings of the Kings Manifesto, which is the foundation of the ALKQN in no way teach such actions. Also many members of Folk Nation will "dis" the ALKNQ due to former gang rivalries. However many Kings/Queens such as my self are wroking with these people(in a non-criminal manor) to put an end to such rivalries.

2004-2005 season saw the departure of a lot of the best players, and incoming of one good one from all the trades (Mogley Bear or something to that matter) and one good rookie (Kevin Martin). The trades shook the Kings this season, because Geoff Petrie is reported to use a lot of cocaine and LSD when making dumb, freaking choices. Also in the season, there were plans to move the Kings Stadium, Arco Arena, elsewhere, such as across the street from the same exact place. Once again, there were rumors of moving the Kings to another city, but the Maloof Brothers denied this in a half-hearted manner (Which means their moving on out). The Kings are having a solid season, except for the fact that they play so that the first three quarters don't really count or matter, usually coming up with an upset victory or defeat in the last five, testosterone-filled minutes. Even more controversy happens, when missed referee calls happen, mainly from the opposing team clearly goal tending shots. Of course, the refs are too busy trying to come up with fake calls to p.o. the players who "made" them (once again, another Geoff Petrie decision, once again he's tripping on the cocaine and LSD).
