The acronym for the website 'Mylifeisaverage.com'. Possibly the best and most entertaining website EVER, it contains the three things that are required to make someone's day. 1. Irony. 2. Randomness 3. True Life events. Though the site started as very average and ordinary, with posts such as 'Today I wanted a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich. We were out of Jelly. I just had PB", MLIA has launched into a death spiral of comedy. People from all over the world share events in their life that have occured that other's would find funny, ironic, random, or just plan cool, and are voted upon by readers as 'Average' or 'Meh'. Heads up; there are many other copycat sites. Fmylife and mylifeistwilight are just a sample. Mylifeisaverage is the original, the best, and the one with the most quality by far. *WARNINGS* The readers of MLIA often occur with these traits; Dis-like if Hatred of Twilight and Miley Cyrus Lke or Love of Harry Potter Not so average lives. I won a goldfish from a fair, but I when I came home I realized that i had no fish food. Thinking that he'd probably die that night, I fed him crunched up Cheerios. My fish lived off of Cheerios for 2 weeks. Then I finally decided to get him real fish food. I fed it to him. 5 minutes later he died. MLIA.
Today my father and I went to the grocery store. Because we're Bosnian our dishes usually involve garlic so my father had stocked up enough. The cashier gave us an odd look and my father just shook his head, replying with "Just making sure the vampire stalkers stay away from my daughter. You can never be too safe after seeing that sparkly guy from Twilight." Love you pops. The original inhabitants of Australia who continue their struggle to survive in a white mans world For 40,000 years or more they lived at one with the land and with nature. A spiritual connection that a non Aboriginal could ever understand. For just over 200 years, white people have lived on this land and now claim ownership over Aboriginal people. When Europeans first settled in Australia they Murdered, Raped,stole children and forced their way of life on to Aboriginal people. Now 200 years have come and gone and Aboriginal people suffer with issues like Alcoholism, drug addictions, homelessness, loss of culture but are slowly coming back as they are a very strong culture. There are so many stereotypes that degrade Aboriginal people that are highly untrue but there are some that are true and are just results of this civil war that goes on in Australia. People disclaim their religion and their ways saying they are are so primitive. You can say that a rainbow serpent sounds highly unlikely and somewhat like a childish story telling, but if you compare that to any other religion in the world, it it just as likely a giant snake created rivers and mountains as mosses parted the sea, or even the concept that we go to heaven or hell. these are just stories to give us all morals and guidelines to live our lives. Another aspect of Aboriginal culture is their general way of life. People can say that it is primitive, but that is obviously very ignorant. For 40,000 years plus they preserved the land, the original recyclers . Now in only 200 years or so there are so many environmental, political and economical disasters that have come from "white mans way" you can really ask yourself the question, which way was better?
Everyone needs to understand Aboriginal people did not choose this to happen to them nor want this to happen to them. But in moving on, we need understanding and combine contemporary and traditional Australia to have the real Australia that we all need. For a person to say a racist thing to an Aboriginal and live in Australia id like you to first consider where you came from and how you got here and also remember who's land you are standing on. Government benifits ARE slowly working and i am a product of that system. I am a 3rd years student studying to be a teacher and so many other Aboriginal people are conforming to the white way . So for every drunk or homeless Aboriginal you may see, just think there are another two trying to do well and help my people. |

I, as a juggalette, am not what most of you people say. I do not go around talking about how I'm going to go get my hatchet and I'm going to cut your face off. Nor are my friends the same way. All my family are very educated. We're NOT fucking idiots. We do get mad when people talk shit. But, do we actually care enough to make us become 'normal'? No. Infact, it only has been making us want to be what we are even more. I grew up without much family. My mom and sister. My mom never was there for. Only sometimes. My sister was always with her friends, as I, didn't have too many. I was considered 'wierd'. That was until I met a Juggalo. He listened to my life story. He accepted me into his family. Now, I have more reliable people I could talk to. Being a Juggalette makes me feel better about myself mainly because I know I have people there for me when I didn't before. I listen to ICP and Twiztid and such because I like it? It's funny and when I feel pissed off I can listen to it and it makes me feel better. Saying either that they can relate or just for shits and giggles. Juggalos that go kill and go do dumb shit shouldn't be considered Juggalos.
Juggalos are about family. Some people get carried away. Face painting; so people KNOW we're different and that's how we felt all our lives. ike, we had to live under a mask. Hide our face with face paint. But, now it's just a tradition. We have gatherings to meet new comers. Talk to people for advice. Just expect the unexpected from us. We drink Faygo because it actually tastes good and it's cheap. And most people don't know abou it. We are original. What other group decided to paint their face? Well, that's my say. -Tempest.
