Stossel -v- to ask a short question, often of a skeptical nature, with an over-the-top imitation of John Stossel's voice and tone in a mock-serious manner so as to provoke the phrase (See first example). Oftentimes the question is no more than three to five words long. It is essential that the person watch some of the John Stossel specials to adequetely capture the mannerisms or verbal tones of John Stossel. It is essential that the person puts a horizontal finger or two under the nose in imitation of John Stossel in order to further give the impression that they are "stosseling". The nature of the word is similar to the word "pwn" or "own" though it is done more to provoke laughter than to pwn or own the person.

"stosseled" is a word that is derived from the last name of an ABC reporter named John Stossel. Upon watching one-hour series of "Give Me a Break", students from a high school in College Station started to use the last name of the reporter in the said series as a verb often to highlight a situation where a question is asked in a manner of John Stossel.

You got stosseled!

Person 1 (Whips up horizontal index finger across the bottom of the nose and uses John Stossel voice): "Isn't that greed?"
Person 2: "Well...er...maybe...yeah...but what I mean is-"
Person 3: "You just got stosseled!"

To get incredibly excited about a particular activity, sport, or musical instrument, then purchase all the equipment possible associated with the respective activity, without actually yet having acquired any skill in it (The equipment usually being high-priced and unnecessary). The activity is abandoned within a period of 1 to 6 months without any actual skills having been learned.

To use un-do guilt as to persuade an individual into thinking the situation is somehow their fault, or feeling bad to the point of conceding defeat. Also, to SAS.

1. Rick totally Stolzeled that whole skateboarding thing. He took it up for about 2 months, but bought the most expensive wrist pads and knee guards he could find. He also purchased many shirts to the effect of, "Skateboarding isn't a crime" and proceeded to wear them whenever skateboarding.

2. Janie was Don's friend for so long, and kept hanging out with him even after he kept telling her how horrible a person she was. He's totally Stolzeling her to keep her around.

Stolelection 

Is when the winner of a contest is quietly suppressed or ignored as those in higher authority or masses continue forward without the victors rightful acknowledgment.

Many people feel this was a stolelection eventhough she was defeated in the debate. Because of her celebrity status. The audience was much more interested in talking and taking photos with her. And the winner was left in solitude after the victory.

When a large number of your social media posts have received likes, hearts, thumbs up, etc, from one person in a short period of time and fill up your notifications.

My Facebook notifications blew up and I saw that my recent posts had been stoogeled by John Doe.
