| 22. | hollaback girl | ||
|
A female of very low peer status due to flawed character. Any peer status is generally presumed to have been attained due to one or more of the following dubious ploys:
1. Lying, spreading rumors, or gossiping about someone behind their back. 2. Responding in a promiscuous manner to "cat calls" or "sleeping around". (Hollering back, or Hollering from her back.) 3. Having wealthy or politically connected parents. ("Hollaback" connotes a wealthy suburb of the city referencing the "Hollywood" neighborhoods of pop culture soap operas like "Beverly Hills 90210", "Melrose Place", "Party of Five", "Dawson's Creek" or "The O.C.".) Said girl is widely presumed to not have the character to face their accused in good faith or a fair fight. Due to the popularity of the Gwen Stafani song in 2005 and the general acceptance of suburban white teens it is no longer an exclusively "urban" term and if used will surely identify the user as someone who is hopelessly behind the curve. The only legitimate use of the term as of the summer of 2005 is as about oneself in a self effacing manner to elicit humor or disdain for contemporary pop culture buzzwords or phrases. Johniqua Kerry would surely have won the election over Georgiqua Bush had she not married into money and been exposed as the hollaback girl candidate by the Swift Boat posse.

A Hollaback Girl is a cheerleader. Gwen is saying she isn't a "Hollaback Girl", meaning she's not a regular cheerleader. She's the captain. You can tell by the way she dresses in the video, and by what she's saying. She's probably talking about somebody who spreads rumors about her character that she's sick of. So she wants to settle this. She's also trying to cheerlead at the same time. So she and her band of cheerleaders go and fight the person spreading rumors, who thinks I'll be one-on-one. But he was mistaken. The "B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" part is her character saying that it's stupid and driving her bananas. That's my guess. And another thing; Gwen didn't make up the word. It was uncommon slang until she used it, but people did say it before she made the song. "I ain't no Hollaback Girl."
Gwen dresses as a captain cheerleader in the video. She also has a bunch of people following her around in it. So she's probably not one of the wannabes; she's saying her character is the leader, not a follower. |

| 24. | Quest for 10 | ||
|
Every highschool freshman boy's dream to bang 10 chicks in his hometown highschool before graduation. There is a college variation, but it holds much more weight when pulled off in the highschool years. Bonus points for spreading rumors about the lucky 10. Also, standards can drop somewhat in persuit of the common goal. "Well, I failed another test...but all I care about is my Quest for 10."
"Look, maybe I wouldn't do her in the real world, but this is the Quest we're talkin about here, and i'm only 2 away." |

| 27. | jealousy | ||
|
a person becomes jealous because they perceive someone else as having or being something they don't believe they think they can have or be, so they feel that they are inadequate, that is why they become angry with that individual and try either conspicuously or inconspicuously to sabotage them because they are trying to take something away from them, to feel equal to them. A lot of unattractive women feel jealousy towards attractive women because they feel that they themselves can never be attractive, so they feel inadequate and consequently, they try to sabotage the attractive girl by excluding her, spreading rumors about her, trying to get her fired, trying to beat her up, etc... but if they got in shape and changed their whole self-image, the attractive chick would no longer be a threat.
