All of a sudden you see something or someone FABulous and inspiring that distracts you both from your conversation. Those are sparklies!

A cooler term for "awards" than the word "awards." Usually a shiny statuette that says your work doesn't suck. Sparklies give you cred and make your work legitimafied. "Check out the sparklies on my mantle."

A descriptive word to define the carbonation which makes the tingly, easing sensation felt in your throat when drinking a cold, carbonated beverage. This sensation is most felt after a hard night of drinking or while sick with any virus which affects the throat (cold, flu, etc). Tom - "Would you like some juice to ease your throat?"
Mary - "No thank you. I need some sparklies, do you have any Sprite?" |
