Snopeshaming 

The act of making someone feel guilty for resharing something on facebook (or any social network or email) by posting a snopes link and making them feel terrible for not fact checking.

One of my friends was totally snopeshaming me the other day for posting an article about how the drinking age was raised to 25.

The act of disputing an email forward, by citing Snopes.com and then replying to all, thus proving the original sender failed to check the veracity of the claim.

I saw people post on Twitter that a factchecker had disproven the claim that Humza Yousaf gave an AntiWhite speech in Parliament, but there’s a video showing that he clearly did, yet such posters refuse to acknowledge it—What a bunch of snopesflakes!
