a mosher is a person who likes to listen to music such as cradle of filth and slipknot. the 3 main features of a mosher are these;
1.greasy skin
2.black clothes (possibly with badges or some other garbage on them).
3.the loud horrible music (if you can call it music) blasting out of thier mp3 players.

a moshers main rival is the chav. moshers likes to say things behind chavs back, but wont say a word to thier faces. a truly pathetic mosher will be in his/her early 20s that still hang armound with the 12 to 16 year olds grease balls *ahem* moshers. anouther feature of a mosher is that they like to jump around alot and most of them are just the school outcasts looking for something to rebel againt. anyway moshers should be avoided at all costs they may bite and many of them have head lice and crabs from thier dogs.

Anyway... Slipknot's a 9-man band from Des Moines, Iowa. While the general idea is that Slipknot is nu-metal/rapcore/metal/etc...and while it's true they are those things, they are also something else. They're a band that has come a long way from their roots (if any of you listened to Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. you'll know what i mean...) and has become an extremely talented band. I'm not sure what happened to the original singer, but the current singer, Corey Taylor, was recruited to sing for the band after the original vocalist departed from the band, or got kicked out, or something. In any case, I don't particularly give a shit what you boyband-lovers have to say about them...Corey has an amazing set of vocal cords, being able to go from the hard, face-ripping, mother-sodomizing growls of "The Heretic Anthem" heard on Iowa to the melodic, soul-wrenching singing of "Snuff" from their new cd, All Hope Is Gone. James and Mick play guitar like they'll die if they stop, and Joey is one of the best drummers i personally have ever heard.

Yes, Corey does use a lot of profanity. Profanity's a good way to express frustration, anger, hopelessness, and other emotions...which is the general theme running through their songs. Slipknot is excellent t...

Slipknot is more real than any other band out there, they are more about the music and that isnt bullshit. If you knew anything about slipknot then you would know they arent out to earn money....so all you cunts makin fun of slipknot are just ignorant fucks....how bout looking into something before you critisize it.
Slipknot has lots of talent and if you actually have heard them then you would know, thought corey taylor does scream alot in the songs he CAN SING CLEAN just listen to the song 'bother' by corey taylor/stone sour. Slipknot rocks there in it for the music and they are there for the fans.

An INDUSTRIAL metal band with 9 members,only three of which were in the original lineup on the mate.feed.kill.repeat. album. (<<their first. the numbers on their second cd was the barcode number on the afore mentioned cd) Some brackish pieces of shit think slipknot bought their masks... no.your wrong. all their masks are homemade and very tight and painful to wear as to add to the intesity of their music and/or live show. Slipknot is a great band, but it is not for everyone. A slipknot can also be a type of knot that is learned in boyscouts

Slipknot is a sort of teenie bopper heavy metal band. They are very good and have agressive and gr8 lyrics. They need a new guitarist tho :P But the drummer is very good. Since going mainstream alot of people do think they are for teenie boppers. I still think they are gr8 altho i do prefer some of the better heavy metal out there like opeth etc etc
